DPHHS - Pathways
Training and employment services for individuals who are receiving TANF or TANF-eligible (up to 200 percent of poverty). Services include case management, referral services, specialized training and subsidized employment.

DPHHS - SNAP E&T Program
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program/Employment & Training Program: Eligibility includes: anyone eligible for SNAP benefits who is over the age of 16, not in high school, living in Lewis & Clark County, and able to seek employment.

ARPA-American Rescue Plan
Provides short-term training and support assistance to eligible Montanans who seek to improve self-sufficiency in high-demand occupations. Typically, training cannot exceed six months. Program eligibility is 1) 18 or older; 2) eligible to work in the US; 3) meet Selective Service registration requirements (if applicable); and earn no more than 250% of the Federal Poverty Limits in 2023 ($36,450) as documented on the individual’s most recent tax return.
Interested persons should complete and submit a CTI pre-application. Applicants will be contacted and scheduled for an interview.

Eligibility includes: must be a current ACA Medicaid recipient.
- Comprehensive program- full enrollment to assist with training and placement in healthcare and cyber security occupations.
- Diversion program- one-time short term financial assistance (up to $250) to obtain or maintain employment.
- Training support scholarship-financial assistance (up to $1500) to support the last 12 months of education/training
DOLI - State Displaced Homemaker
Services are focused on helping the client gain employment. Must be 18 years or older and a resident of Montana. Eligibility includes having provided unpaid services to family members three of the last five years and in need of gaining employment because the primary wage earner is no longer providing income (divorce, separation, disabled, etc.)
DOLI - WIOA Youth
Services are prioritized for 16 to 24 year old out of school youth. Youth must have at one documented barrier such as low income or on public assistance, pregnant/parenting, offender, disability, high school dropout, homeless or in or aged out of foster care. There are a few openings for low income youth who are in school. Services are geared to helping youth gain employment or enter college.
DOLI - WIOA Adult
Must be 18 years or older and income eligible or receiving TANF or SNAP benefits. Training and employment services are geared to assisting individuals gain full-time employment.
HHA - FIC Program
Family Investment Center: Eligibility includes being a resident of the Helena Housing Authority or Local Section 8 voucher holder.
USDOL YouthBuild
Comprehensive seven-month program for 16 to 24 year old high school dropouts. Activities include HiSET preparation, construction pre-apprenticeship training, employment skills, leadership development and community service projects.
Helena Pre-Release
Eligibility includes: felons under the supervision of the Department of Corrections. Provide job development services for all residents.
